I think i will be saying this on behalf of all my current batch of juniors who have had an unpleasant holiday training starting from the 2nd week of the holiday. From the information that I have gathered, I strongly believe that someone is abusing the trust that Mr Chin has on her. Just because he said that he will never sack her as long as he is the principal doesn’t mean that she heck care about most of the shooters and throw attention to other schools during the AISS training slot. What’s worse is giving AISS’s training slot to others. Let me try to guess what she is thinking...
Firstly even though Mr Chin has her back, she still needs to show some medals. So she focuses on the teams with a better chance of winning, C gals and Bernice to be exact. She is thinking that they might get at least silver and therefore justify to the principal, see she very liao bu qi. However they still do not have a better chance of getting gold compared to the C pistol gals and B pistol Boys, so why is she not concentrating more on them?
For B pistol boys it is simple, ACS is a school that demands a team gold medal and they won't be satisfied with just silver or bronze. Last year their shooting club did not win any gold, and if this goes on someone’s head will be on the chopping board. Out of the 4 teams, which team has a bigger chance of getting gold? C pistol? HCI looks good to claim it. C rifle boys? HCI too looks good to claim it. B rifle boys? HCI, SPS and RI. So the vital task of getting the team gold will rest on ACS pistol B boys. Right now the team with the best chance of claiming team gold will be AISS, and most schools are lagging behind ACS and David and Daniel are brilliant during TRAINING. However unlike other divisions and events, this is the one that she can kinda control as favour is still a school under her.
As for C pistol gals, we will look at Fuhua’s team. As the biggest winner of last year, much will be expected from them this year. Therefore with only their B div pistol gal team with a good chance of getting team gold, one should not be surprised that she will try to get the pistol C gal to win the gold as well.
As for XMSS, at the end of the year, she will have a row of contract talks. And whether she will get the contract depends on the result this year.
